About Me.

Hello! 

My name is Callie and welcome to my blog! I was born in Yuba City, CA where I lived until I was seven years old. Before my eighth birthday my family bought a home in Rocklin, CA which is where I stayed until I chose to attend Oregon State for school. I love living in Corvallis, the scenery is stunning and anywhere I go there will always be a beautiful view    
  
                        

I am in my Sophomore year at Oregon State and I am currently majoring in Animal science with specifics in Animal behavior. I hope to use my degree to analyze animal behavior and make new discoveries about how animals function and make decisions. I have always had ambitions to play a role in research done with larger ape species because I think they are extremely fascinating. I have a great amount of passion and love for all animals and the natural world! 

           

When I have free time I like to travel, whether that be to another state or a drive that takes just a few hours. This past summer I traveled to lots of places with friends/family and loved enjoying the new scenery and making great memories. I am a total foodie and love trying new/exciting things where ever I happen to be. I feel a deep connection to music and I love attending concerts for my favorite artists, so I try each day to incorporate music into my daily life.

Knapp's Relational Model

                                           Hello and welcome back to the weekly post on Callie's Connections. Knapp's Relational Model describes how relationships grow and die, using 10 different stages categorized under two stages called "Knapp's relationship escalation model" and "Knapp's relationship termination model". This model can be used to analyze romantic and platonic relationships. Today I would like to analyze the relationship between me and my boyfriend.  My boyfriend and I met during our Freshman year of college at Oregon State. We were introduced through mutual friends and initiated our relationship by talking casually about classes and how we chose Oregon State for college.
